Concept
The Nordic Go Cruise takes place on the M/S Viking Grace between Turku and Stockholm, on the weekend from 25.-27.09.2026. Finnish and Swedish participants book a 23-hour round trip that takes them back to their port of departure. Both groups overlap on the ferry during the leg from Stockholm to Turku, during which the competition will be hosted at the ship’s conference room. International players can also choose to board in Stockholm and disembark in Turku. We are planning supplementary community events in Stockholm before, and in Turku after the event.

- Tentative time settings: 20min + 8sec Fischer time (EGD C-class)
- Tie-breakers: head-to-head, SOS, SOSOS
- Japanese rules and EGF tournament rules
- Komi 7 points
- Two stone reduced handicap outside of top group
- Tournament teacher to be announced

Prizes
- Guaranteed prize pool for top finishers: 500€
- Bothnia Cup for best performing country between Finland and Sweden.
- Additional prizes for strong performances outside the top group
